Sweet San Martin de los Andes, on its alpine lake, is a way-station on the gringo trail through the Patagonian lake districts. I've only been there in summer...still the vivid blues, greens & purples...but the autumn colours you captured...wow. Lanin...one of my fave volcanoes...thanks for the pics.That you are leaving Patagonia...leaving your paradise...sad for you.

You are so right, David, leaving Patagonia is the most difficult thing I've done on this journey. However, those autumn colors were a treat I'd never seen. Glad you got to see Lanin up close and clearly!
