Nastastie dobri ludia z Mendozi za nas nase listky zaplatili svojimi specialnimi kartami a dokonca ani nechceli naspat v papierovych nominaloch.
Odprevadila nas az k autobusu, lucenie bolo tazke...
Mendoza je famous mostly for its wine making and we as a proper travellers couldnt miss the oportunity to visit one of its wineries. On the bus to one of the wineries we needed to buy our ticket and had to pay with coins, not possible to use paper money. There is, as in most south american countries, a chronic shortage of coins in Argentina. Fortunatelly good people of Mendoza paid for our ticket with their special card and even didnt want any money back in paper nominals. It was nice to finally meet locals who didnt want any money from us, try to rip us off, rather the opposite. Later we found out the reason for not enough coins in Argentina, it is due to devaluation, so the cost of making of coins is higher that its
actual value, and therefore many of them got melted. We decided for a wineyard called Trapiche, which is also a word for a wooden grape crusher used for vine pressing ages ago. Honestly, they didnt show us a lot, mostly old machinery already out of use. There was a wine tasting in the end, but we werent impresed, they were very acidy for us, but another people seemed impressed a lot. After this we had still time to visit apparently one of the most beautiful parks in the country - Parque General San Martin. It was really hot and humid the whole day, same as yesterday, we had 3 ice creams each, big melon and drank lots of water, but nothing seemed to help really. In the evening we picked up our ruksacks and went to a bus station. We got acguianted with a bitch that let us to scratch her and looked very friendly. We gave her some bread and cheese, but she refused, so she wasnt very hungry. She went to say good bye right to our bus, it was a bit sad...
