Puente del Inca y Alta Montana
At 2,720 m (close the border with Chile), the river has been over-bored mountain caves forming a natural bridge where surface hot springs. We were lucky at that day and could catch a glimpse of the Aconcagua, highest mountain in America. Chicos y chicas, gringos y gringas!
¿Cómo estan? Tenemos un rato grandioso en la Argentina ... in other words, we're enjoying very fruitful moments with the Gauchos, Mariachis, Panchos, Nachos etc. in lovely Argentina. After spending a few days in Buenos Aires, we saddled our horses and headed west, straight into the Cuyo region, west-central Argentina. By chance we picked the province Mendoza nearby the famous, imposing Andes and spent 10 days in the capital to spoil ourselves with the finest wines and world-class bife de chorizo and feed ourselves with la lengua argentina. Argentina has really experienced tough times in the past and the proud diva hasn't been treated well all the times .. but she's doing well and u can fell it in the streets. Once ruled by the Inca empire, then colonized and threatened by the spanish, the last decade was a rollercoaster ride in terms of politics and economy, military coups and dictatorships rocked the country until very recently. We intend to stay for quite a while, inhale the traditions and ambience, try to tase the local flavours, habits, tango-dance the nights away in some boliches and win several coke-fernet contests with the locals.
Lifestyle as we
Vida loca
Life is tough in the streets of Mendoza. Once the class is over we practiced our new material in the bodegas or the bars ... after some litros it's getting better and better. Salut ! learned very quickly is extremly relaxed, not very much hassle, fiestas and siestas at its best, we appreciate and enjoy to adopt the mood while we're strolling thru the pampa. Bueno, a 20h busdrive is awaiting us, next destination should be Bariloche, another gateway to the -Los Andes-. So, Argentina is not crying for us and so do we 😊
Caramba and hasta luego muchachos and cucarachos, muchos besos,
Los gringos ...
