this room is an old cement room used for baking bread and storing food. In the back, there is a huge mess of things piled up ceiling high.

this is from the 2nd story looking down at courtyard littered with scrap metal. What a waste of space ! Again, the staff has told us that they would like to clean it up, fix it up, and give it a purpose.

this kitchen feeds a lot of young appetites each day. Supposedly over 300 meals are served on some days.

credit the cooks for doing such a good job despite the furnace-like heat that fills the room from the ovens

these room doubles as a cafeteria and a school room. to our understanding, there is one teacher for all the kids who is really more like a tutor. We don't know how many of the orphans go to schools outside the orphanage.

through the kitchen there are a few more rooms. this is another storage room with a freezer.

food storage and social workers office. wow, they really need some more space, and better organization.
