We flew into Buenos Aires the capital of Argentina from Bogota and had high expectations of this city as we had heard so many good reports about the nightlife and the sites. The reports didn't disappoint, the city had so much to see and for the three nights we were there we had a great time in the bars at Palermo and San Telmo areas. Unfortunately we only had a relatively short time to explore as we had already been in Argentina at the beginning of South America so we only wanted to visit Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls before crossing the border to Brazil for our final country.

The weather was great and we just wandered around the streets and harbour taking in the great scenery, we felt really safe here (for a change) and there was always a nice atmosphere. We visited the famous La Boca area with its colorful buildings full of art, salsa restaurants and bars it was really great. We also visited la Recoleta a very famous cemetery where Evita and a lot of other rich and famous are buried. Some of the graves are huge, bigger than our house in fact!! One thing we

still couldn't get used to about Argentina was how late they eat and drink. When we should of been getting ready for bed, we were eating and then at 2 am we would go to the bars, it was really bizarre!!

We then took a 16hr bus ride north to Puerto Iguazu the home of the mighty Iguazu falls. When we arrived our hotel had a pool so we decided to chill around there for the afternoon and have a few beers, well quite a lot of beers and wine, but we were then very relaxed to visit the falls the next day. It was quite expensive to get in and very touristy but it was definately worth every penny. The falls were spectacular, so powerful and probably the best natural attraction we have seen!! They are huge and you could take several walks to see different parts above and underneath them where of course you got very wet, it was awesome.

And so on to our last country, Brazil, where we plan to go to the Pantanal and then to the Southeast Coast and Rio De Janeiro for the final part of our adventure.........We can't believe how
