San TelmoSan TelmoSan Telmo

San Telmo is said to be home of BA´s main tango culture.
Thursday, Day 1
So we´ve made it to Buenos Aires!!! Unfortunately on different flights but almost at the same time. Karolina was waiting for me at the arrivals, what a joy to see her!

Weather is disappointing today, it´s cold and it started to rain in the afternoon. Well, it´s autumn here.
We won´t wait until Sunday to head for Iguazu falls. The weather is too miserable. My hands are freezing cold all the time.

Friday, Day 2
Nowina flew in today, so we´re together now:-) Tres gringas muy excitadas.
It´s even colder today but at least it´s sunny. We´ve been walking quite a bit. Some nice local red wine for dinner to finish the lovely day (i.e. to warm us up).

Saturday, Day 3
Weather is getting better. We´ve seen quite a lot so far so tonight we´re taking a coach to get to Iguazu (16 hours, just like my flight).

Buenos Aires is full of diversity, some places are really poor whereas others look very wealthy. One thing that strikes me is pollution here, literally clouds of smog coming out of every bus, every car. You can see and smell it everywhere.

I would

like to return to Buenos Aires when it´s warmer here. I would love to go to Patagonia so if I do it one day I will definitely revisit the capital.
