first time in argentina and I head for the capital and party..nightlife capital of the country....Buenos Aires.

Have to start thinking of staying in hostels at the moment for the last two months of my travels because the funds are running a bit low now after an expensive five weeks touring Brasil to keep the costs down and because I know i need to save money for a couple of other major sight seeing ventures that I want to do in Bolivia & Peru before leaving for home.

This city does not have as many sights to see and do like some of the other major ten capitals I have seen on my travels and on my first few days I manage to see almost everything that is important here including the Obelisk, Parliament Buldings, Evita memorabilla, La Boca and the famous Bombanera Stadium. But what it lacks in tourist sights it makes up for in nightlife.

There are a ridicoulsly amount of large nightclubs like Pacha and Mint with high prices to match and the guests here in the Clan Hostel seem to pass the days sleeping and recovering from the previous nights mayhem. I know

the streets around the capital here which are famous for the tango, but i prefer the faster beat of salsa or merengue myself
that I cannot spend more than five days here because it is going to take me a long time to recover after the late nights of drinking and other excesses. There are also a large contingent of americans, english. irish, aussies and kiwis here who do not want to try and converse in too much spanish which is not helping me much so after arranging to see the Boca JUniors game here in BA , I have made a concerted decision to move onto Uruguay or other parts of Argentina which are not as popularly visited.
