Settling in on Kata Beach - Phuket - Thailand

Compared to Mauritius coming to Kata beach and the nearby beaches was almost like coming home. Restaurants with Scandinavian food everywhere and newspapers from Norway only one day old. We are a Norwegian/Canadian 30-something couple that have decided to do some longer term travelling before settling down. With no kids or mortgage, we recognised it wouldn't get much more convenient as we got on in years. Whatever happens, we are looking forward to a great learning experience.
