Heat wave in Amsterdam

Cycles and canals. Such a cruisy start to day 1 in Amsterdam. No nonsense this time leaving the airport. We found the train then a taxi to the door of our hotel. It sure was a steep staircase. Remind bided me if the AA Milne quite “halfway up the stairs is a place that I sit, it’s neither up nor down, but I’m very fond of it”. I wanted to sit just to catch my breath lol. Thanks for your comment Lynne
