Geothermal gold fish pond

One of the most bizarre things I've ever heard of - this is a pond that's heated by geothermal water. Years ago people started putting their old pet goldfish in it for whatever reason...resulting in a geothermal goldfish pond.

One of the highlights of the trip for me was whale watching from Husavik, Iceland's whale watching capital. We saw at least a dozen whales, and many essentially swam right past the boat, which I haven't seen on prior trips.
