Rotorua
March 8th 2007 Our journey next took us to Rotorua, the sulphur city, famous for its thermal springs, geysers and bubbling mud pools. Well they certainly are not kidding about the sulphur smell, it hits you as soon as you drive through the centre and lingers in the air. We were told that we would get used to it but we never did.
