Lexington, KY to Little Rock, AR

We started the day in Lexington, KY, "The Horse Capital of the World.". We enjoyed our drive through the rolling bluegrass hills, past horse farms and race tracks. Crossing the Mississippi marked the first visit to Arkansas for the kids and me. The land stayed broad and flat for a long time afterwards, all part of the Mississippi floodplain. ... read more
