The Colca Canyon March 3rd 2007 The Colca Canyon formerly held the title of the deepest canyon in the world. However, it is no longer “officially” a canyon, due to its width-height ratio. Many people argue that it is just an enormous valley, but this is highly disputed amongst Geologists.
