November 25th 2017 Darwin has been a nice surprise. It’s a very modern city of about 150,000 people. Of course, it’s modern because it was bombed by the Japanese in 1942 and then destroyed again by Cyclone Tracy in 1974. It's spreading because of other factors, such as the oil and gas industry and the influx of foreign workers and immigrants.
