Christina here: "Hi!" This is a commonly-understood greeting here, as well as the traditional nod with hands pressed together in praying position. More casual is the same, using only the right hand. Some say "Bah-goo-na-rra" (roll the r's, like Spanish) meaning "how are you?" Correct response: "Bah-goo-na-noo," meaning "I am fine."
