There was no drinking water on the course and I was dehydrated. Smart enough to quench my thirst with water first, before the beers.

Geo: 36.6307, -121.82Yesterday we played golf at the old Navy course, now called Monterey Pines. A nice course but short (par 68) and not in the league of the Ford Ord courses. We were joined by a friend of Bob's, Don Summers, who is an ex-Marine who now lectures at the NPS. The greens were still very fast but I'm starting to get used to them and only three putted once.
