end of hike

We got pretty muddy on our hike up the hill and through the sheep fields. There were other things on our shoes to. The path was like a mine field of sheep poo. When we got done, the nice lady married to the farmer offered to hose off our shoes. thank God, otherwise that might have been in our rental car, and eventually our suitcase! We had given the farmer some of our 4th of July choclate and he had passed it along to his wife, who said it was a perfect sweet after her morning porridge, She was lovely.
