Hopeland Gardens - Aiken series-

These horse statues were commissioned as way to raise money for the arts in Aiken. The horses are placed all over Aiken. This one is my favorite because it showcases one of my favorite SC flowers, which can also be seen in Hopeland Gardens.

Aiken is a " small town" in SC, I grew up in much smaller place. Aiken has a lot of small town, southern charm. And if you like horses then this definitely the place to be. Aiken was the winter vacation spot for rich northerners to bring their horses. While the rich and famous have left their are still a lot of horses. A fun place to visit is Hopeland Gardens.
