Alice and I spent 11 days in Mauritius - from October 16th 2000 to the 27th. My first choice destination had been the Seychelles; but the air fare was high, compared to Mauritius, which cost $400 return by Air Tanzania (stopping in Zanzibar and Comoros en route), so I chose Mauritius.
