For such a small island, Iceland has a total of 130 volcanos (30 are active). Most recently, Eyjafjallajokull erupted in 2010. While relatively small, it did cause enormous disruption to air travel across Europe.

Nothing like a good road trip with family! Today we traveled across Iceland to Skaftafell on the eastern shore.
