The TraNZAlpine train service between Greymouth and Christchurch. A great way to travel, really. And standing on the open viewing platform, with the wind gushing all around, threatening to blow you hat straight off, just admiring the magnificent alpine scenery while trying to capture it with your camera between the tunnels and bridges, is truly a superb experience.
