ON THE ROAD in North Holland on a tour from Amsterdam: We visit Ransdorp, Monnickendam, Noordbeemster and Schermerhorn.

Prior to flying to Amsterdam I had booked a full day tour with "That Dam Guide" visiting the area just north of Amsterdam. It is an area of dijks (dikes), windmollen (windmills) and kaas (cheese).
