Alesund is a pretty town in a lovely setting. Enjoyed a stroll around the centre which has some nice buildings and views across the water to surrounding islands and mountains. Had a steep walk up through the local park and up over 400 steps to a hill top café on Mount Aksla. There were panoramic views of Alesund and of the fjord. ... read more
