The dining hall - most dangerous room in the prison due to cutlery and so many people in one space. They had tear gas come out from pipes in the ceiling in case something went wrong! Nothing ever did though, and they never pulled the lever - if they did the guards wouldn't have made it out either!

Day Two: Cable Cars, Seals, Alcatraz, Pier 39, getting lost - the true tourist experience

What a day!!! My alarm woke me up at 6.30, and I dragged myself out of bed, got ready and navigated myself through the streets to catch a cable car.
