The first day at Avalanche peak was very hard. It was physicaly harder than anything I ever done. So imagine my surprise when the next day was harder. We went up the cass river which involved first some water in my shoes and then a climp up to a saddle that really took my breath. And what was left was taken by the wonderful view of the valley.
