Dad and I took ourselves off for lunch today, and we went to the Kerry Vineyard. It was a lovely warm day, how different from the wind of yesterday, and we had a look round the vines after we'd eaten. It is apparently built on the site of a Roman fort, and there is a well (Perspex covered, but you can walk over it and see into it ) inside the café which could date from Roman times.
