Weights and Currency

Today's home schooling lesson was about weight and currency and we used a roadside orchard shop for the lesson. The kids had to weigh the big juicy red apples and work out the cost. Then we gave Hat lots of small coins and she had to find the correct amount. A very practical lesson and at 40p a kilo, the apples were peanuts. ... read more
