Thursday December 24 – From Ohope we drove to Rotorua, a town famous for its volcanic activity and thermal waters. The town is quite cool, and the air smells of sulfur. We found another campsite (they are usually called holiday parks) and were assigned a spot. Then we drove into town to walk around.
