Many have heard of, and many praise Shimla for its British heritage. It was an old hill station when the British were in residence. To be honest, we weren't that impressed. The ethos of this trip is one of 'a life spring clean'. We've sold almost everything we own - house, furniture, car and belongings. We have left our jobs and pooled funds for a world trip -culminating in an extended period in New Zealand where we'll be working (gotta happen sooner or later)! If all goes to plan we'll be spending 4 months in India, 4 months in SE Asia, 4 months in Australia and then as long in New Zealand as the money will allow.... full info
