Welcome to Tamworth

I arrived in Tamworth at my friend Pip's place, about a 4 hour drive west from Bellingen. The transition from the green pastures of the coast to the drought stricken paddocks as I headed to Tamworth was quite remarkable. Hello, welcome to my travel blog. About me - well to cut a long story short, I left England when I was 20 (a Barnet girl) travelled first to New Zealand for a year where I enjoyed life as a postie around Auckland’s streets (as at that time English people had a bad reputation for being too casual about employment) and it was all that was on offer.
