On the ice

This was great fun, we were given a guided tour of the ice complete with crampons! It was really cool to see all the different contours, holes, streams etc. Tried to get Sandra to Irish dance for me in crampons - no luck.

After taking a relatively short flight (a little more than 2 hours) we arrived in the tourist town of El Calafate one of the entry points to Los Glaciares National Park.
