WEEK 5 MAROONED AT SEA! I was only in transit through Punta Arenas but I have the impression of brightly coloured houses - painted corrugated iron roofs and wooden walls shining in the sunshine. The bus ride from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales was mainly though pampas with the high Andes on the horizon to the west.
