Canoeing to a camp site was new to our family. We literally canoed 1.5 hrs to reach the secluded little piece of land along the river to camp out for the night. This meant we had all supplies packed in a separate canoe and no way easy way of returning to our vehicle if we neglected to pack something. It was a very unique experience for us.
