We are riding home in what is called a seven-seater. These are like over-sized auto-rickshaws, and we were warned to never ride in them because they also only have three wheels and can tip very easily. Of course, we try to stay away from them, but our group leader, Rama Krishna, decided that we should take one back to the university after our bus adventure. And of course, one should not be fooled by the name 'seven-seater.' We had 14 people in that thing--you can almost see the two people that are hanging off of either side. Most of the time people will cram up to 25 people in these vehicles, hence the danger of tipping over. I swear Rama Krishna was in the room when Aparnaji told us not to ride in those, but whatever.
Taking the bus

We practiced taking the bus around the city today. There are two regular buses, and they kind of go to the same places...usually...so that's the easy part. The hard part is that the bus stops don't have any signs that signify which part of the city you're in, and there are no announcements or anything, which makes it slightly difficult to know where to get off the bus.
