Most good stories start in the beginning....this isn't a good story yet, but that's where we're going to start anyway. The day had arrived and I was packed and ready to go. I was born and raised in the United States and have lived in some fantastic places. I miss my friends and family back in the States, but adventure calls for me. I am living in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China for the next year (or longer). I am teaching with EF Schools, and so far, things have been great! My Chinese is coming along but I still have much to learn.
