I´m a one-way ticket, slow traveler, relishing the freedom of the open road and trusting serendipity to guide my journey. When I was younger, I used to travel for a year at a time. Seems that Punta Arenas has everything...incredible sunsets...views to the end of the world...and fabulous resting places to enjoy it from. Thanks for the historical accounts...and as always the etherial hues that colour memories of the wilds & wonders of Patagonia.

Glad you remembered, too, my Patagonian brother, the wonder of Punta Arenas, since it seems so many others just breeze through this lovely city. Ethereal hues and even cloudy days are sweet in Patagonia.
