Auckland is like the rest of New Zealand. Our hotel was right downtown on Queen Street. You walked down to the Pier and the water. But then it was uphill back to the hotel. The streets are built in the gorges it seems. The streets are full of international students and visitors and you are listening to many other languages being spoken.
