I was not able to blog last yesterday because of a connectivity issue. We got up at 4:00 to get to our anchorage before the wind came up against the tide. It was a beautiful calm day but heavier winds were predicted for the afternoon. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada.
