We had great fun taking pictures with these kids. Apparently all are related (in some form or another). They all skipped school and are hanging out trying to sell necklaces and beads. They're all good looking, but the girl in the front left was the cutest thing I've seen in a long time.

I'm in Mardin, the final stop before Syria. Perched on the side of a hill, crowned with a castle containing an immense radar dome spying on the middle east on behalf of NATO, packed with historical honey-colored houses lining crooked streets, Mardin is a real beauty.
