Friday 25 January 2013 We have said goodbye to our sixth set of hosts today. Jangannadh and Vidya have looked after me very well in Shimoga and Yashas sends us off with a high five. We have a five hour bus journey to Mangalore, along some of the best (or worst?!) roads we have seen. I still can’t believe that people drive on roads like this. GSE 2013

We are taking part in the Rotary D.1190 (Cumbria and Lancashire) Group Study Exchange to India Rotary D.3180 (Karnataka). Although mainly based in Mangalore, we will be travelling throughout Karnataka in South West India. The trip takes place from 2 January 2013 until 2 February 2013. As well as visiting many historical and religious places, we will each spend five days learning about our individual sectors and how they function in India.
