14 January 2013 Even though this is our one day off during the trip, and a national holiday, I still manage to wake up at 8am! It’s lovely to enjoy some sunshine beside the pool, read a book and listen to some music. We are taking part in the Rotary D.1190 (Cumbria and Lancashire) Group Study Exchange to India Rotary D.3180 (Karnataka). Although mainly based in Mangalore, we will be travelling throughout Karnataka in South West India. The trip takes place from 2 January 2013 until 2 February 2013. As well as visiting many historical and religious places, we will each spend five days learning about our individual sectors and how they function in India.
