Spent the day in Quito Capitol of Ecuador, over 2 million people and I think they were all in old Town today, boy was it crowded. Really did not care for Quito, very dirty and too metro for us. Our flight to Cuenca was at 6:55 pm, but decided to get to airport at 3:00 pm and so glad we did. Our flight had been cancelled with no more flights going to Cuenca today with LAN Airlines. Following the Son

June 2012, Roger asked me how I would like to retire and move to Ecuador! I thought he would grow out of it, but as we explored the possibilities it became more exciting that we could actually have this adventure. We went on an exploratory trip to Cuenca Ecuador in December 2012 and fell in love with the city and the people. After a lot of praying and asking for the Lord's blessing over this decision we will be moving to Cuenca in October 2013.
