Oproti Ahmedabadu je Udaipur mnohem mensi a prijemnejsi mesto. Ma historicke centrum a na ulicich nepanuje zdaleka takovy chaos. Vzhledem k jeho nadmorske vysce 600 mnm a skutecnosti, ze v teto casti Indie maji zrovna "zimu", je tu opravdu prijemne.
