We awoke early doors on Sunday to get the 7am Intercity to Queenstown...all 8 hours of it. At this point, it is probably best to state the Intercity buses are a fantastic way to travel around NZ. They are super clean, the drivers are courteous, funny and informative which makes the journey not only bearable, but actually rather enjoyable.
