No one is living there, but Altine's niece will rebuild it and move in next year.
Jaap's day continued...

Jaap now has a large garden we visited. We also saw the last house Grandpa lived in with his parents before leaving for America. I found out our connection to Jaap. His grandfather (also Jaap) and our great-grandfather (Gerrit) were brothers. We three siblings are grandchildren of three immigrants, two from Holland and one from Norway. Our one grandmother's parents came from Norway and England. We spent our childhood in south Dakota and Minnesota, but now Allan is curious about seeing the countries of Holland and Norway, as well as meeting cousins and second cousins.
