Landscape on the way to Lai Châu

The white stilt houses of the Thai ethnic minority people reminded me of Mongolia (white gers on the grassland and next to mountains). Previously, the stilt houses were made of wood, but now people changed to concrete to protect environment (saving wood). (Nhà sàn màu trắng của người dân tộc Thái xây bằng bê tông ở khu tái định cư).
Than Uyên and Lai Châu

This is Part 3 of my 7-day solo trip in the North West of Vietnam by local bus and motorbike. Wednesday afternoon (July 18) - I missed the bus from Mù Cang Chải to Than Uyên at 12am and another bus would come 4 hours later.
