Our second day in Santiago (and first full one) we woke up at times varying from 5 AM to 7:45 AM. After breakfast Lena, a peace core volunteer, met with us to take us to the school we were to visit. Compass School Junior Class

Compass School Juniors

Every year the Compass School's Junior class travels to a Spanish speaking country, this year our group of eight will be traveling to the Dominican Republic to immerse ourselves in the culture and to use our knowledge of the Spanish language as we travel through the cities of Santiago and Santo Domingo, and the rural village of Tres Ceibas.
