Tan Pra Maha Kajjana was a very handsome monk, so handsome that some people mistook him for Buddha. He did not want people to be attached to his appearance, so he changed himself to a fat ugly monk.

Wat Chedi Luang is a pretty amazing place. The name translates literally as “temple of the big stupa” and stupa comes from the Tibetan word for “heap.” Stupas contain sacred Buddhist relics.
