Tan Pra Maha Kajjana was a very handsome monk, so handsome that some people mistook him for Buddha. He did not want people to be attached to his appearance, so he changed himself to a fat ugly monk.
Monk Chat at Wat Chedi Luang April 26th 2012 Wat Chedi Luang is a pretty amazing place. The name translates literally as “temple of the big stupa” and stupa comes from the Tibetan word for “heap.” Stupas contain sacred Buddhist relics. The name “Temple of the Big Heap” is quite accurate.
