See all those pretty colors? Inlaid stones. I'm kicking myself that I didn't get anything in this shot for scale, because this pin couldn't have been more than three inches long. Can you imagine the precision the craftsman must have had?

Today Gracie took herself to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and, as a die-hard Beatles fan, to Strawberry Fields. I stayed close to the apartment and rested my weary back.
