Diego Rivera, one of Mexico’s most esteemed artists was born here.

Museo Casa Diego Rivera is his boyhood home. The museum’s ground floor is furnished in period furniture. Some of his art is displayed on the upper floors. Maybe his better stuff is displayed elsewhere or we don't appreciate good art.

The city of Guanajuato is considered to be the most beautiful, romantic and "one of the best preserved" of Mexico’s colonial cities.
